Status and Status Reason values in Dynamics CRM 2013

Following table shows default State and Status Reason values for most of the system entities except below entities which are having different values.

  1. this is confusing. is it state, or status? is “status reason” a filter for the chosen status? some of them seem to have the same values / choices. if a task has a status reason of 4 “waiting on someone else”, is the task able to be temporarily assigned to the other person, so it shows up in their workload?
